New Logo and Owl Icon
As nohomeless.org prepares to officially launch within the next month, we decided to work with a graphic designer to develop a few additions to our look. These designs will be tools used to promote our organization's identity.
The logo is simply a home resting in the open space below an H. Because our ultimate goal is to find a home for every homeless individual.

The symbolism relative to the owl may not be as obvious. The owl has often been considered a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. We believe it is not only wise but also knowledgeable to provide aid and support to the poor and impoverished in our society. The outstretched wings are meant to symbolize an angelic and virtuous approach to helping those in need.

We hope you like these additions! They will be featured on our website, social media platforms and T-shirts, as well as a variety of other places.
I'd like to end this post by sharing a few quotes from some very influential historical figures.
What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.
-Saint Augustine
All men are by nature equal, made all of the same earth by one Workman; and however we deceive ourselves, as dear unto God is the poor peasant as the mighty prince.
-Plato
Our life of poverty is as necessary as the work itself. Only in heaven will we see how much we owe to the poor for helping us to love God better because of them.
-Mother Teresa
